Day 3 : My First Day in Israel

After an adventurous day in Jordan and spending a cold night in Wadi Rum in the Jordan desert, we finally crossed over to Israel.

It was an emotionally testing experience at the Israel Immigration. Our group of 80 pilgrims were obediently queuing up to have our luggage checked. As we waited patiently for the Israeli Officers to check our bags, our hearts got more and more anxious as we saw our fellow pilgrims' bags being "detained" for further checking. Even the Pastors' bags had to go through thorough scrutiny.

When it came to our turn, my luggage passed the check but KC's had to be "detained". He thinks that it is because of some files which he brought along. When we exchanged notes later, we concluded that most of those whose bags were detained actually had some sort of paper in them.
